Just how real on SM are you?
Real people on social media (SM) platforms means just that. Not robots (bots), real people. But it goes further. Real people desired by social media influencers and small business marketers (not racketeers) encompass the perfect fit. The perfect fit is indicative of followers who will be supporting the business in mainly two ways. The first and most essential line of support is that real followers will be buying into the advertised products and/or services. And the second line is very much appreciated if indeed it is pulled off.
If you want real people to follow you, you’ve got to be real too. Real people only really feel comfortable around those who are as real as them. And by that could be meant anything related. Real people are genuinely nice people. Many of them may not be able to afford your product or service, but they end up ‘liking’ it nevertheless. If they believe you’ve got a good case, they’ll support you in this way. They end up promoting you. If they haven’t already ‘liked’ you, they’ve passed your material on to another network or group previously not within your reach.
Getting them to notice you first-hand is one of the biggest challenges facing the new social media subscriber. It does not matter what platform he or she has bought into – it could be Instagram, Facebook, WordPress, YouTube, or any other of the SM leaders – the challenge of acquiring support is mostly all about the timing. Diligent social media activists already realize that it takes time to build a good following. But, as they say, time is money. SM activists with commercial or mercenary concerns feel compelled to achieve virtually instant support.
Practice makes perfect. Believe it or not, this is always possible. The longer you practice with your available materials, the sooner you will realize growth, organic or otherwise. The ‘otherwise’ in this case will be the buying of your followers. This can be done through a reputable online retailer with special expertise on the way the social media platform – Instagram, for instance – operates. You can purchase 100 followers and these are reflected against your platform within hours. No need to wait for weeks for new followers to reach you.
Practice what you preach. There has to be something real and credible for future organic or real followers or supporters to latch on to. It is hardly ideal to be buying followers when there is nothing to show for it. You’ve spent enough time working with your materials, and so you’re just about ready to go live with a regular barrage of (daily) posts. But do speak truth to what you’re propagating. Do not let good support come back to you to find that you were nothing that you said you were. Tell no lies and only offer up to them what you are capable of.
Finally, to get real Instagram followers to follow you, be prepared to engage as a real follower yourself.
